Prayer of the Day for the Fourth Sunday of Lent

Eternal lover of us all,
You open your arms to accept us
even before we turn to meet your welcome;
you invite us to forgiveness
even before our hearts are softened.
Hold before us the image of our humanity made new,
that we may live in Christ.

Amen+

from the Revised Common Lectionary for Prayers 2002/ Augsburg Fortress/amended

A Scripture from the coming Sunday's lessons

Romans 5

Suffering produces endurance, endurance produces character,
character produces hope and hope does not disappoint us.

Resources for our ministry

Both council and the call committee have been given a helpful document for the interim and for self-examination in the call process: FACTS on Growth, Research based perspectives for building vital faith communities. If you would like a copy of this, please email Brenda at office@mttaborslc.org and pick yours up from her.

Small Change to Change the World + Please remember the simple ministry of bringing your pocket change for World Hunger. This is a very easy way for children to be able to give and to learn to give and...to make a difference. Thank you.
