COME AND CELEBRATE!
Can you guess the year? Gasoline was 15 cents a gallon, a loaf of bread was 7 cents, a quart of milk cost 9 cents, and a pound of steak would set you back 26 cents. The United States entered into World War 1. Woodrow Wilson was president. Mary Pickford was America's most popular actress AND Marie White was born to Harry and Elsie Thomas in Galesburg, Illinois on September 13th. Give up? The year was 1917, which means that Marie White is turning 100! Her family would like to invite you to an open house celebrating this momentous occasion.
Date: Sunday, September 10th.
Time: 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.
Where: Marie's house at 300 West 1000 North, Bountiful. (Talk to Casey White or Pat Mize if you need directions.)
